A (long running) Consuming Passion…

One of my favourite ever pieces of Val’s art-work (“The Well Fed Pig” limited edition print, available to buy from us still!) sits front and centre at the start of this latest CKBK “Consuming Passions” offering. Once you’ve raised your eyes from this loveliness, you can continue reading as there are also some pig words in the piece, which are by me

Thanks to Matt at CKBK for asking me to write this one which, in the process, brought back some good, long ago, family memories of dishes made by my Mum or those that later also seemed to play an important or central part in my life. I think you can actually read this one for free via the link but hopefully that’ll encourage you to investigate CKBK more deeply (and maybe even subscribe.)
