Green is the colour

Today, I accompanied the wonderfully green-fingered Val Littlewood to a local garden centre where she bought some green plant things called, I’m reliably informed, “Sweet Williams”. Great for bees (like this Hairy Footed Flower one highlighted by Val in a recent post). Which is extremely good of course.

I, on the other hand, was more than a little distracted by the sight of this rather delectable item. It’s not an actual Big Green Egg which I’d raved about before in this piece on cooking gear, but still, it looks to be a pretty good facsimile thereof.

I know it’s not the same but I’m tempted…
