Care in the community

Length: < 1 min

I recently bought a simple, inexpensive Kiridashi craft knife for @val_littlewood direct from the Japanese supplier and we are — as we always are — charmed by the care with which it’s wrapped, firstly in a safety piece of tightly bound brown paper, in turn wrapped inside a carefully folded page from a Japanese newspaper, all neatly contained in the presentation box. The icing on the proverbial is the standard inclusion of a gift, in this case, some sticking plasters to remind you of the “be careful” words on the obverse of the knife care sticker they slip in.

On a background of a page from a Japanese newspaper sits a small metal craft knife alongside it's brown paper safety wrapper. They also gifted two sticking plasters along with their knife care instruction card which has "Take care" on the obverse.
